Why We Won't Publish a Price

We're a founding cohort. There's no public price because a price before a conversation locks you into a number before we understand your business. Here's why that's actually better for you.

Why We Won't Publish a Price

We could put a number on the website. A lot of our competitors do.

We've thought about it, and we've decided not to. Here's the honest reason.

A price before a conversation is a price that fits no one

HVAC businesses are not the same. A two-truck owner-operator in Phoenix handles different call volume than a twelve-technician shop in Tampa. What a missed call costs them is different. What they already spend on answering services is different. What their busiest season looks like is different.

A published price — say, $X per month — means one of two things happens when you see it:

Either the number is too low for what we'd actually need to charge you, given your volume, and the conversation later feels like a bait-and-switch. Or the number is too high for your situation, and you close the tab before we ever talk about whether the ROI makes sense for you.

Both outcomes are bad for you.

The discovery call is not a sales trap

We ask four things:

  1. How many inbound calls does your business handle in a typical week?
  2. What does an average booked job cost the customer?
  3. Roughly how many calls do you miss — during peak season, after hours, or when your team is already tied up?
  4. What happens to those leads today?
The answers to those questions determine whether Vectrion makes financial sense for your operation, and if so, at what price. We're not going to quote you a number that makes us look cheap until we understand what you're working with.

This is about founding-cohort honesty

We're accepting a founding cohort right now. That matters to how we price.

Founding-cohort clients get direct access to the team, input on the product, and pricing that reflects the early stage of the relationship — not a commodity rate. That arrangement isn't compatible with a public price card.

The tradeoff is that you have to get on a call before you know the number. We think that's the right tradeoff for both sides. You get a price that fits your business. We get a client relationship that starts with a real conversation instead of a checkout flow.

What you can know before the call

A few things we're comfortable stating publicly:

We guarantee your system is live within 7 business days of signing. If we miss that, your first month is free. We don't tie you to a price before you've spoken with us. And we don't manufacture urgency — if the call doesn't lead to a fit, that's a fine outcome.

The goal of the discovery call is to figure out whether there's a real match. If there is, we'll give you a number. If there isn't, we'll tell you that too.
